Commodores Look to Build on Last Season's Success

The Vanderbilt Commodores are set to open their 2023 fall football season on Saturday, September 2nd, when they host the Eastern Michigan Eagles at Vanderbilt Stadium. The Commodores are coming off a 5-8 season in 2022, but they return a number of key players from that team, including quarterback AJ Swann, running back Ray Davis, and wide receiver Will Sheppard.

Swann is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the SEC, and he will be looking to lead the Commodores to their first bowl game since 2018.
