Punk Was Injured During The Men's Royal Rumble Match
CM Punk reportedly suffered a significant injury during the WWE Royal Rumble match last Saturday in St. Louis.
According to PWInsider, Punk suffered a torn left triceps during the match. The injury occurred when Punk was attempting to eliminate Seth Rollins over the top rope. Punk was able to finish the match, but he was later taken to a local medical facility for further evaluation.
The severity of Punk's injury is not yet known, but it is expected to keep him out of action for several months. This is a major blow to WWE, as Punk is one of the company's top stars.
Punk has a history of injury problems. He missed several months of action in 2022 with a foot injury. He also suffered a torn triceps in September 2022 after he won the AEW World Championship at the All Out pay-per-view.
