London Knights and Saginaw Spirit to Battle for Championship Berth
The London Knights and Saginaw Spirit are set to clash in the Western Conference Final of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Knights, who have won 15 straight games, will host the Spirit in Game 1 of the series on Friday, April 28th.
The Knights are the top-seeded team in the Western Conference, while the Spirit are the fourth seed. The Knights have a lot of experience in the playoffs, having won the OHL championship in 2016 and 2019. The Spirit are making their first appearance in the Western Conference Final since 2016.
The series is expected to be a close one. The Knights have a lot of talent, but the Spirit are a tough team to beat. The Spirit have already upset the second-seeded Windsor Spitfires in the first round of the playoffs.
The winner of the series will advance to the OHL Final, where they will face the Eastern Conference champion. The OHL Final is scheduled to begin on May 11th.
